The Shine Team is a service which supports children in mainstream educational settings who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We work with both boys and girls aged between 4 and 18 and recently extending to up to 25 years. We are an education service which offers training to staff or works specifically with pupils. This may be in the form of 1:1 work with a student or running small groups e.g. to support social skills or transition years. We also lead group talks to help the class understand why people are different.
