Extra Curricular
At Oldfield we offer very popular before and after school activities. Our provision for extracurricular activities is regarded as a strength of the school.
These include activities such as:
Judo, piano, football, rugby, netball, choir, yoga, French, Spanish, sewing, forest school and violin to name but a few.
Sport and health are very important at Oldfield. We run a number of teams in a variety of sports – we have close links with a number of local rugby, cricket and football clubs and qualified parents also help to run clubs. A list of activities is sent out termly.
Children in Key Stage 1 who are taking part in any activities that require a change of clothes may come to school in their school PE kit unless they are able to get themselves changed independently. School staff ARE NOT able to help the children with changing.
THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO CHILDREN IN KS2 WHO SHOULD CONTINUE TO BRING IN THEIR KIT.
For all outdoor clubs, Parents/Carers will need to collect the children promptly at the finish time from the Key Stage Two blue gate by the playground / field. If you wish to watch the children during their time at the club, you will be able to do so from behind the blue fence in the staff car park.
