As part of the Maidenhead Big Read programme we were thrilled to welcome in Martin Brown to the school. Martin spoke to pupils in Year 4, 5 and 6 about illustrations and the power of perseverance when drawing.

The children had a wonderful time and loved seeing Martin's illustrations come to life.

Martin was kind enough to sign some of our Horrible Histories books which are in the Year 5 and 6 reading scheme, as well as one of the amazing drawings from the session. These are now proudly displayed in the KS2 corridor.
